cannonball!

When visiting Mudville, be sure to stay at The Porcine Palace, the city's "swinest" hotel.

I had a little time and was inspired to do this for this week's Illustration Friday word "muddy". I threw in a few sketches too.

Love the color on this. I always imagined what it would be like for pigs to have their own pool. You'd think they'd want to wash off every once in a while, but no, mud is where it's at.
Great stuff

The sketches are wonderful too, and not something that we see from you (so it was a real treat).

Your sketches are so great to see..do you do everything by hand, or via a tablet, I hope you don't mind me asking, Michael. And of course, the end result, that postcard-esque feel is just perfect! From the textures, concept (definitely) and the detailwork, you always manage to hit it out of the ballpark. The explosion that ensues from the cannonball would be just earthshattering..imagine that on the back of the postcard!

Awesome, again, Michael!
