kids birthday cards

Hey everybody! I know my posts have been a bit scarce these days, but i've been super busy working on some really fun projects.
Not that I'm complaining-it's good to be busy. I can't show any of them yet, but I will post them when I can.

Anyway, I wanted to share a few kid's birthday cards I did recently. I'm really happy with the way they turned out-I wanted to keep them simple and fun, with a limited color pallet. I had a lot of fun with these. They're available now at a Target store near you!

Really lovely sir! As always you make the digital medium sing, looks so much like natural media. Would love to see your process sometime...The scraped lines and texture work in the lion's mane are superb and the limited palette (love the kid's face, especially the nose) is very well done. The lions 'different stance' pairs of feet add the perfect level of whimsy character too! Glad you're keeping busy, hope you can share with the group soon enough. TTFN

Are the lion's forepaws in the fifth position? I forget.
