Sometimes you need to curb your craving or nothing good will come of it...

Love the colors in this--kinda retro, or something...And the look on that bear's face!

That poor unsuspecting bear is gonna be in a world of hurt in a moment! His craving for something sweet is going to leave him feeling quite bitter.

Oh, by the way, I love the look of the tree bark.

I'd love to see a book of these illustrations. The theme you have going here, of naive characters in dreadful situations (although they all don't seem to be aware of it) is just hilarious.

Great job, another fantastic piece.

Mate you've done it again! Just fantastic. What are you using to achieve those textures, I love em!

Wahoo - I dig your groovy style. I like the touch of the cast shadows, it adds some good drama.

jason-a book would be fun...maybe I could call it OUCH!

chris-I make some of my textures with a brush, or print them with a blockprint. some are photos of ceramics, wood, things I find around the house, or outside-basically whatever I can find!

thanks everyone, for your nice comments...

You know, it's totally amazing what we will do when we want what we want hee hee hee hee! This crazy bear will endure 1000 bee strings to get that sweet honey. Talk about determination!!! Oh I never took into account how heavy that dang tooth brush would be. She should be able to lift it though. She's been taking her secret energy pills on a regular these days hee he hee hee hee!! Your illustrations are just awesome and I love each and everyone of them. Great work once again!

I like this kind of drawings that tell a story (pass, present and future) in an only image. Wonderful bee bullets.
