catered cafe

Here's my latest illustration for Today's Parent magazine. The article is about parents actually hiring a caterer to feed their kids healthy, nutritious and trendy lunches in the school cafeteria. I don't know, I kinda liked those pizza burgers and tater tots I grew up eating in my grade school cafeteria.

Great illustration!

I agree completely with you. There was nothing better than that greasy pizza we had every Friday.

Wow- The lengths grownups will go to make sure kids eat everything on their plates!
What a feast for the eyes this illo is! ;o)

My school used to sell wonderfully tasty pizza slices for 50p each, that's about 79¢ at today's exchange rate. That said, I think I'd prefer that kids roast chicken. Mm m.

This illo goes right to the point I think.. parents can't cook well enough for their kids because they must work so hard to be able to afford the caterer :)

Oh and there is a rat drawing on my blog you might like..!

I love this :) That chicken looks yummy! (BTW I'm a Kindergarten teacher, and please believe me when I tell you that those pizzas and tater tots you ate looooong ago are not nearly as "yummy" now as you remember :)! School lunches are BLECH!)

To think that my kid would be deprived of cafeteria pizza and tots ... well, let's just say its a scary thought. Another amazing illustration.
